JOB DETAILS:
Driver
Job Summary
The Driver will provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation of company personnel, products, documents, and other materials while maintaining company vehicles in good operating condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Transport products and personnel to designated locations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips.
- Maintain accurate trip, fuel, mileage, and delivery records.
- Ensure timely delivery of products and documents.
- Assist with loading and unloading where required.
- Report vehicle faults, accidents, and maintenance needs promptly.
- Keep assigned vehicles clean and in good condition.
- Comply with traffic laws and company transport and safety policies.
Requirements
- Valid driving licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
- Relevant driving experience; FMCG delivery experience is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Nairobi routes and surrounding areas.
- Clean driving record and responsible driving habits.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours where required.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
