Background

Our client, Generic Brands Ltd — a leading FMCG company under the Mini Group of Companies — has launched a new e-commerce platform, Kikapu Chetu. The company is seeking to recruit a qualified E-Commerce Accountant to join its finance team in Nairobi.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and reconciliations for Kikapu Chetu platform
• Track and reconcile Shopify, payment gateways, and bank transactions
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements
• Ensure accurate VAT, PAYE, and WHT filings
• Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and audit preparation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• CPA (K) / ACCA (part or fully qualified)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Shopify, and Excel
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills
• 3–5 years’ accounting experience (preferably in e-commerce or retail)

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: bachelor degree
