POSITION: ECDE Teacher

Job Summary:

The ECDE Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that supports the holistic development of young learners while implementing the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning activities.
• Promote literacy, numeracy, and social development.
• Assess learner progress and maintain accurate academic records.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding learner progress.
• Prepare teaching and learning materials in line with the curriculum.
• Participate in school programmes and professional development activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE).
• Minimum three (3) years' experience teaching ECDE or lower primary learners.
• Competent in Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) implementation.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
