Company Description
Nubia Group is an ESG-focused emerging-markets growth equity firm backing transformative, scalable businesses across Africa, Asia, and Latin America in sectors such as financial inclusion and fintech, renewable energy, agritech, healthtech, and sustainable manufacturing and logistics, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The firm believes that in emerging markets, long-term value will be created by well-governed, sustainable, and inclusive businesses that can demonstrate genuine impact. Nubia Group is built on a disciplined, ESG-integrated investment approach that combines deep sustainability expertise with robust financial and private equity rigor, informed by leading global standards and institutions. In addition to its fund, the firm runs an advisory practice that helps growth-stage companies become investment- and ESG-ready through ESG strategy and integration, ISSB (IFRS S1 & S2) disclosure, GHG Protocol (Scope 1–3), and IFC Performance Standards (PS1–PS8), turning ESG from a barrier into a pathway to capital. Nubia Group is founder-led, impact-driven, and committed to long-term growth.

You will assist in mapping company practices against standards including the UN SDGs, ISSB (IFRS S1 & S2), GHG Protocol, and IFC Performance Standards, and contribute to developing ESG strategies and disclosure frameworks for portfolio and advisory clients. The internship is a remote role, offering exposure to cross-border transactions and collaboration with team members across geographies. This is an internship position, with structured guidance and opportunities to develop practical ESG and investment skills.
