JOB DETAILS:

• Teach the principles of microeconomics, macroeconomics, international economics, and economic policy analysis.
• Supervise students in economic modeling, econometric analysis, and policy evaluation exercises.
• Conduct research on economic growth, inflation, unemployment, trade, and fiscal policy impacts.
• Train students in data analysis using statistical and econometric software such as Stata, EViews, and R.
• Develop teaching materials on contemporary economic issues and policy challenges.
• Guide students in understanding the application of economic theories to real-world development and policy problems.
• Collaborate with economic policy institutes, government agencies, and financial institutions on research initiatives.
• Setting, moderating, invigilating and marking examinations.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

i. Applicants should hold a PhD or a master's degree qualification in a relevant field from a recognized academic institution; and possess vast teaching or industry experience at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.

ii. Applicants must have served as a Lecturer or equivalent industry experience in a university or institution recognized by the Senate of JOOUST.

iii. Demonstrate potential for university teaching and/or research;

iv. At least two (2) years teaching experience in a university.

v. Master's holders registered for PhD may be considered

vi. Be registered with the relevant professional body as required by the field of specialization.

At least two (2) years teaching experience in a university.
