Purpose

To build a comprehensive career in the generation, transmission, and utilization of electrical power. My goal is to integrate the study of rotating electrical machinery with large-scale power system analysis. I aspire to work in utility companies or heavy industries, focusing on power flow optimization, fault analysis, and the integration of renewable sources to create a stable, high-quality power supply network.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Applicants MUST have obtained a minimum of Diploma with Credit in the areas advertised from a recognized and accredited Institution;
• Candidates must be registered or registrable with relevant professional and/or regulatory bodies where applicable;

• The scholarship package will cover tuition fees, Project and Assessments costs for the duration of study.
• The scholarships are open to all Kenyans under the age of 40 years who will be engaged as Technicians and Technologists.
• Programmes of study funded by the scholarship are scheduled to commence in August, 2026.
• The successful candidates shall be bonded under the applicable terms and conditions of the University of Meru University of Science and Technology;
• The successful candidates shall be expected to complete their studies within the prescribed study period;
• Scholarships are tenable at the Meru University of Science and Technology;
