About the Role

Our client is seeking an Electrical Technician to support the maintenance and operation of electrical systems and equipment at an industrial facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of machinery, troubleshooting electrical faults, and carrying out preventive maintenance activities.

Job Description

  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in machinery and installations.
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
  • Install, test, and commission electrical components and systems as required.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing equipment downtime.
  • Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and operational emergencies.

Job Requirements

  • Certificate, Diploma, or Trade Test in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or processing environment.
  • Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, control panels, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
