ELECTRICIAN

Job Purpose

The Electrician will install, maintain, test, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with approved designs, safety standards, and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install electrical wiring, fixtures, switches, sockets, lighting, and related systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams.
• Test electrical installations and identify faults.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems.
• Install distribution boards and other electrical components within the scope of competence.
• Ensure electrical installations meet required safety standards.
• Maintain electrical tools and equipment.
• Conduct appropriate inspections and testing.
• Coordinate electrical works with other construction teams.
• Report faults, material requirements, and safety concerns.
• Follow electrical safety and site procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Relevant electrical qualification from a recognized institution.
• Appropriate professional licence/authorization where required.
• Practical experience in construction electrical installations.
• Good knowledge of electrical safety.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
