Kinetic Controls provides electrical and mechanical maintenance services in Kenya.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting critical power equipment at sites across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain generators ranging from small units up to 250 KVA
- Troubleshoot and repair generators, compressors, and ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) panels
- Perform preventive maintenance on all electro-mechanical equipment
- Conduct fault diagnosis and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and service calls
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in servicing and troubleshooting generators, compressors, and ATS panels
- Diploma or Higher Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of diesel generators up to 250 KVA
- Proficient in reading electrical and mechanical diagrams
- Experience working in critical infrastructure environments
- Valid driver's license is an added advantage
- Willingness and ability to travel countrywide
