Kinetic Controls provides electrical and mechanical maintenance services in Kenya.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting critical power equipment at sites across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain generators ranging from small units up to 250 KVA
  • Troubleshoot and repair generators, compressors, and ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) panels
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all electro-mechanical equipment
  • Conduct fault diagnosis and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and service calls
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in servicing and troubleshooting generators, compressors, and ATS panels
  • Diploma or Higher Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Strong knowledge of diesel generators up to 250 KVA
  • Proficient in reading electrical and mechanical diagrams
  • Experience working in critical infrastructure environments
  • Valid driver's license is an added advantage
  • Willingness and ability to travel countrywide
