Background
This role focuses on building strong partnerships with employers to enable job, internship and apprenticeship opportunities for youth with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining relationships with employers across different sectors
- Engaging employer associations to promote disability-inclusive hiring
- Organising employer forums, meetings and engagements
- Securing commitments for job placements and internships
- Supporting employers directly — providing guidance on how to implement disability inclusion practices, improving their HR policies and practices, and coordinating disability-awareness sessions for HR teams and management
- Placement support — working with internal teams to match employer needs with qualified candidates, supporting employer recruitment and onboarding, and collecting feedback from employers about placements
- Documentation and reporting — maintaining accurate employer engagement records, and preparing progress reports and success-story documentation
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in employer engagement, partnerships or HR
- Experience or interest in disability inclusion is an added advantage
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
