Background
Our Nairobi bureau is looking for an experienced English-language journalist with solid digital investigation skills. As AFP’s regional hub for East Africa, Nairobi covers Kenya, Ethiopia, Burundi, Rwanda, South Sudan, Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda, Djibouti, Eritrea, Mauritius and the Seychelles.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will report on disinformation in Kenya and the wider region. They will also support journalists in other bureaus in Africa and beyond to verify harmful online content.

Level of Education: bachelor degree
