Powerstar Supermarkets is pleased to announce five (5) openings for Entry-Level Branch Accountants. We are seeking early-career professionals who demonstrate a strong foundation in technical accounting and a commitment to professional integrity.

This role is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to financial accounting functions, including branch reconciliations, payroll support, and budget preparation. It is an ideal environment for a candidate looking to apply their academic and professional training (CPA/ACCA) in a fast-paced retail setting.

Core Responsibilities:

• Support month-end closing and the preparation of financial statements.
• Assist in reconciling branch records and general ledger maintenance.
• Monitor accounts payable/receivable and ensure policy compliance.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification (CPA 2, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Up to one year of experience (preferred but not mandatory).
• Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail.
