Responsibilities or duties
- Conduct interviews using digital questionnaires and accurately record responses.
- Engage respondents professionally, explain the survey purpose, and obtain consent.
- Follow survey guidelines strictly and ask questions as designed to avoid bias.
- Ensure data quality by reviewing responses and clarifying any inconsistencies.
- Use and safeguard data collection devices such as tablets or smartphones.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle all information with integrity.
- Submit data regularly and report progress or challenges to supervisors.
- Plan field activities efficiently, including travel to assigned locations.
- Identify and report field issues such as non-response or language barriers.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Diploma or degree in animal husbandry.
- Knowledge of livestock practices (e.g., feeding, breeding. disease recognition).
- Ability to use digital data collection tools (smartphones/tablets).
- Good communication skills, especially with rural communities.
- Understanding of local languages and cultural practices
