The KenGen Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme is seeking to hire an Executive Assistant. This role is crucial in providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the scheme. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining records. Responsibilities:
The Executive Assistant will be expected to perform a variety of administrative tasks, including but not limited to:
- Managing and maintaining the executive's calendar, including scheduling appointments and meetings.
- Coordinating travel arrangements and preparing itineraries.
- Screening and directing phone calls and correspondence.
- Preparing reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Maintaining organized filing systems.
- Assisting with event planning and coordination.
Qualifications and Experience:
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
