Role Overview
Living Goods is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This role is critical in ensuring the CEO's effectiveness and efficiency, managing their schedule, communications, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner, capable of anticipating needs and managing complex logistics in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the CEO's calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodation, and itineraries.
- Act as a gatekeeper and liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
- Organize and manage meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items.
- Conduct research and prepare reports as needed.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CEO.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar role, preferably supporting C-level executives.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a demanding workload.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Experience working in a non-profit or international development setting is a plus.
Experience Needed
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an executive support role.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Nairobi, Kenya. You will work closely with the CEO and a dedicated team committed to making a difference.
