ROLE PURPOSE
The Executive - Finance (Treasury) is responsible for cash and liquidity management, ensuring optimal treasury operations that support the company's financial stability and growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure sufficient cash is available for operational needs.
- Manage cash and liquidity, monitor cash flow, and forecast liquidity needs.
- Manage bank accounts, interbank transfers, and credit facilities.
- Evaluate and manage investment portfolios in line with the company's investment policy.
- Manage debt borrowings and foreign exchange reserves.
- Oversee bank and M-Pesa reconciliations and ensure accurate statement of debtor balances.
- Ensure timely and accurate supplier payments and proper petty cash processing.
- Ensure accurate capture of all foreign currency transactions.
- Implement and uphold treasury policies, procedures, and systems.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Accounting, Commerce or related field.
- MBA or professional certification is an added advantage.
- At least 3 years' experience in accounts/finance functions, with exposure in treasury management.
