ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a reputable maize milling company seeking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Maize Miller to join our production team. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of the maize milling process, quality control, and legal requirements for producing premium maize flour.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and manage maize milling machinery efficiently
• Oversee the full production process from raw maize intake to finished flour
• Ensure production of high quality, premium maize flour consistently
• Monitor grain quality, moisture content and extraction rates
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
• Perform routine machine checks, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate production and quality control records
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements in maize flour production

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in maize milling or a similar production environment
• Hands on experience with milling equipment and plant operations

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Certificate in: Grain Milling Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Food Science & Technology Mechanical/Industrial Engineering (or any closely related field)
• Training or certification in grain milling or food processing is highly preferred
