We are looking for a skilled and proactive External Relations Officer to join our team in Kenya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing communication and relationships with key stakeholders including clients, consulting firms and government authorities. This role requires excellent communication skills, professionalism and the ability to handle correspondence and negotiations effectively.

Responsibilities.

  • Serve as the main point of contact between the company and external stakeholders such as clients, consultants and government agencies.
  • Prepare and manage official correspondence, reports and documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, site visits and discussions with relevant parties.
  • Support project teams by facilitating smooth communication and resolving issues with stakeholders.
  • Ensure all interactions align with company policies and project goals.

Requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, International Relations or a related field.
  • Proven 2 years plus experience in liaison, external relations or a similar role, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Clear and logical thinking, with the ability to explain complex issues simply.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience drafting formal letters and reports.
