JOB DETAILS:

Location: NAIROBI
STARTING DATE: IMMEDIATELY

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supplier Payments – Ensure timely and accurate disbursement to suppliers with proper documentation and reconciliation of invoices.
2. Tax Compliance – Accurately compute, prepare, and submit statutory taxes (PAYE, VAT, withholding, income tax) within deadlines.
3. Reconciliations – Prepare and review Mpesa and bank reconciliations, resolving variances to maintain accurate records.
4. Transaction Posting – Record financial transactions in accounting software, maintaining updated and properly categorized ledgers.
5. Team Coordination – Work closely with finance colleagues to streamline workflows and support accurate reporting.
6. Audit & Returns – Assist auditors during external audits and ensure timely filing of financial and tax returns.
7. Statutory Deductions – Compute and remit NSSF, NHIF, PAYE, and other statutory contributions on time.
8. VAT Filing – Prepare monthly VAT returns by compiling input and output data, reconciling balances, and ensuring timely submission and payment to the revenue authority.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Relevant bachelor’s in finance or any other related field or CPA-K qualifications.
2. At least two years working experience in finance.
