As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers in the home construction sector. You will actively promote our products, provide expert guidance on their use and applications, and collaborate closely with clients to ensure their needs are met. Your role will involve traveling to construction sites, meeting with builders, contractors, and other stakeholders, and driving sales opportunities to achieve revenue targets.

Key Duties/ Responsibilities

1. Customer Relationship Management
2. Sales and Business Development
3. Product Education and Training
4. Project Coordination and Support
5. Reporting and Analysis

Key Outputs/Deliverables

1. Business Development; achieve agreed upon sales targets
2. Relationship Management; customer retention, improved customer relationships and quality services to the new and existing clientele
3. Compliance to departmental processes
4. Sales reporting; develop timely and accurate sales reports to facilitate decision making
5. Ensure all opportunities within a given sales route are well covered

Academic and professional Qualifications and experience required

1. Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or related subjects.
2. Proven experience in field sales, preferably within the construction or building materials industry.

Key Skills and Competences

1. Experience in the selling of construction materials to home developers and contractors and engaging with architects and engineers.
2. Strong understanding of home construction processes, materials, and building techniques.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
5. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
