JOB VACANCY

FINANCE ASSISTANT

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in processing supplier invoices, staff reimbursements, and payments

• Prepare and issue customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables

• Record cash, bank, and mobile money transactions in the accounting system

• Assist with bank and mobile money reconciliations

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documents

• Manage petty cash and ensure proper accountability and reconciliation

• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities

• Assist in preparing documents and schedules for audits and management review.

• Support compliance with tax and statutory obligations (e.g. PAYE, NSSF, VAT, WHT where applicable)

• Support daily office operations to ensure a smooth and organized work environment

• Manage office supplies, inventory, and procurement requests

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• At least 1 year of experience in the accounting or finance role

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures

• Experience using accounting software e.g. SAP is an advantage

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication

• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
