Safer Power is fully registered and licensed EPC, dealing with key projects like Solar, power and energy projects and medium to big size HVAC projects. We specialize in biosafety laboratory EPC, having done various BSL 2, 2+ and 3 labs in Kenya. We are also licensed panel builders by Schneider Electric and we run an assembly workshop where we make switchboards.

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented and enthusiastic Finance Intern to join our Finance team and gain practical experience in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day finance and accounting activities.
• Support preparation and filing of financial documents and records.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Support bank, supplier and other account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparation of financial reports and schedules.
• Support invoice processing, payment documentation and filing.
• Assist with data entry and maintenance of accurate financial records.
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field.
• Good understanding of basic accounting and financial principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong work ethic.
