Role Profile: Xavier Project has been working in East Africa for over 10 years delivering education and enterprise initiatives to refugees of all-ages. Through the delivery of community led learning, our mission is to ensure that refugees are able to lead safe and fulfilled lives. Xavier Project is registered as an NGO in Uganda, an international NGO in Kenya and a company and charity in UK.
Job Description and Expectations: The role of the Finance Lead position in Xavier Project is to work with the Head of Finance, to provide guidance and capacity building to Refugee Leader through Xavier Project Capacity Strengthen and Sharing Course.
This role will provide critical support to the department in grant management which will entail monitoring of funds disbursed to RLO’S and coming up with ways to reduce risk associated with grants.
The successful candidate will be expected to lead the Xavier Project Finance Team and come up with strategies to make the department more efficient.
Requirements

• Advanced degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in a finance role.
