- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Oversee financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage hospital revenue cycle including billing and insurance claims.
- Monitor cost management and financial performance against budgets.
- Manage treasury operations and cash flow forecasting.
- Ensure accurate financial analysis for strategic decision-making.
- Maintain relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and insurers.
- Ensure compliance with statutory financial obligations and tax regulations.
Skills and Competencies
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Budgetary Control and Cost Management
- Financial Reporting, Compliance, and use of financial systems/tools
- Strategic Financial Management and Planning
- Risk and Internal Control Management
- Strong Analytical and Financial Modelling Skills
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- Professional qualification such as CPA (K) / ACCA required
- Registered member in good standing with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK)
- Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration preferred
- Minimum 8 years of finance experience, preferably in healthcare or complex service environments
