About the Role

CBRE Excellerate is a leading real estate services company in Africa. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, ensuring financial stability, and driving financial growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies and policies.
  • Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and compliance.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Develop and manage the company's budget and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Manage cash flow and optimize working capital.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar senior finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance management role.
