About the role

The Finance Manager will oversee the college’s financial operations and provide reliable financial insight to leadership. The role is responsible for budgeting, reporting, cash-flow management, statutory compliance, internal controls, and the effective stewardship of institutional resources.

Responsibilities or duties

• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and management accounts
• Manage cash flow, reconciliations, payroll coordination, and financial reporting
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with statutory obligations
• Support audits and provide financial guidance to college leadership

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
• CPA(K), ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems, budgeting, reporting, and Kenyan tax requirements
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Experience needed

• At least 5 years of relevant finance experience, including a supervisory role
