KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Oversight: Oversee the preparation and finalization of monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Coordinate and lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed variance analysis and financial projections to support business decision-making.

Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.

Team Management: Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, providing training and development to enhance their skills and performance.

Liaison with Auditors: Act as a liaison with external auditors during annual audits, providing all necessary financial records and support to facilitate the audit process.

Tax Compliance: Advise on tax planning and compliance, including the preparation and submission of tax returns and liaising with tax authorities as required.

Team Management: Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, providing training and development to enhance their skills and performance.

  • Proficiency in financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial reporting tools.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders, including management and external auditors.
  • At least 3 years proven extensive experience in accounting practices and managing teams and overseeing complex financial operations.
  • At least 3 years of proven extensive audit experience with proficiency in financial reporting.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), ACCA or Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
