The Finance Manager leads TC4A's finance function — controls, reporting, planning, and compliance — across all operating countries. You will work closely with the CEO and country leads to keep the business financially sound, audit-ready, and well-positioned for continued growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead month-end close, management accounts, and quarterly financial reporting for the company and for each country entity
- Own the annual budget process and rolling cash flow forecasts; flag variances early
- Manage statutory and client/grant audits across all entities
- Ensure tax, payroll, and statutory compliance in each operating country (KRA, URA, RRA, etc.), directly or through local providers
- Manage banking relationships, FX exposure, and intercompany flows
- Build and review grant and contract budgets for pharma clients and grant funders
- Strengthen internal controls, finance policies, and the chart of accounts
- Supervise the finance team and external accountants in country offices
- Support fundraising and investor due diligence
Requirements
- CPA(K), ACCA, or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's a plus
- 5+ years of finance experience, including 2+ in a management role
- Demonstrated experience consolidating multi-country accounts in Africa
- Hands-on experience with donor and client-funded program audits
- Advanced Excel; experience with QuickBooks, or comparable accounting systems
- Excellent written and spoken English; French is a strong advantage
Nice to have
- Experience in health, tech, or social enterprise sectors
- Familiarity with pharma client contracting and revenue recognition
- Exposure to investor reporting and capital raises
