Background

This is a 6-month consultancy position. Youth below 35 years are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, reconciliations, and expense tracking.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reports.
• Ensure donor compliance, allowable costs, and audit-ready documentation.
• Track grant expenditure and flag variances early.
• Support audits, risk management, and internal controls.
• Work closely with programme teams to align budgets with workplans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 2 years' experience in finance or accounting, preferably in NGO/development programs.
• Strong knowledge of donor compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
