Job Summary
The Finance Officer - Front Office will be responsible for managing and processing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions, including receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Provide support to the finance department and other departments as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries related to financial matters.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is an added advantage.
- Proven experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience
A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
