JOB DETAILS:

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• In charge of all financial transactions.
• Ensuring collection of revenue (fees) for the college.
• Developing, maintaining and coordinating implementation of accounting system and control. Ensuring Budget preparation and presentation to the Board of Governors for approval.
• Preparing and presenting financial reports/statements to management and Board of Governors. Monitoring of actual expenditure versus estimates and ensure control.
• Liaising with external Auditors and responding to queries raised.
• Preparing daily/monthly bank reconciliation.
• Carrying out banking transactions for the college.
• Verifying of local purchases orders and payment vouchers.
• Preparation of financial statements for every quarter and final accounts at the end of every financial year.
• Resolving accounting discrepancies.
• Inducting new staff.
• Any other duties assigned.

The applicant must have:
REQUIREMENTS
CPA (K)
• Must be a Degree holder in the relevant field.
• At least three (3) years' experience as an Accountant/Finance Officer in an educational institution (technical College)
• Computer literate.
• Deep understanding of computer systems/software for financial transactions.
• Be a member of ICPAK.
