- The job holder will be responsible for updating and maintaining our financial database and records, performing regular audits and account reconciliations, providing customer support ,Process bills, checks, receipts and other documents.
- Ensure all documents are properly signed and distributed. Verify financial and other data (e.g. tax identification numbers)Monitor financial transactions.
- Enter data and maintain updated records.
- Assist with account reconciliations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete the approval of supplier payment Responsible for reviewing and recording daily operational expenses, supplier- payments, and employee reimbursements.
- Track and manage accounts payable, ensure that payments are arranged reasonably And accurately within the payment period.
- Regularly coordinate and conduct physical inventory of warehousestock,reconcile stock with financial records.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, and assist in trade marginal sis and cost control.
- Realize in managing foreign exchange transactions, international payments(TT,LC), And bank reconciliations.
- It is necessary to be familiar with the tax law policies of Kenya, the logic of VAT withholding and remittance, have a certain understanding of the company's tax
- compliance,be able to handle relevant declarations and assist in auditing work. Support optimization of internal processes and ERP/financial systems integration.
Expected Skills, Competencies & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in-accounting,Finance,or related field;
- CPA/ACCA certification is preferred.
- 5+years of accounting or finance experience, with at-least 2 years in international trade or logistics industry in a similar role
- Solid understanding of international trade terms(e.g.TT,LC,Inco terms), and import/export document processes
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software
- Posses ability to work in an extremely high-pressure and high accountability environment.
- Must have the Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
- Must have Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures and Familiarity with finance regulations.
- Good math skills
- Organization skills, communication skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
