Responsibilities or duties

The Finance and Accounts Officer I undertakes financial accounting responsibilities and supports effective financial control, reporting and compliance within Kenya Forest Service.

The role involves processing and reviewing financial transactions, maintaining accounting records, supporting preparation of financial reports and ensuring that expenditure and revenue transactions are handled according to approved financial procedures.

The officer also contributes to reconciliations, financial controls and accurate maintenance of financial information required for management and statutory reporting.
