JOB DETAILS:
Background
The Financial Reporting Centre (FRC) (Kenya's Financial Intelligence Unit) is established under section 21 of the Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Act, 2009.
Job Responsibilities
Initiating payment processes as guided by the Senior Accountant and submitting for verification;
Ensuring supporting documents for payments are received from users and attaching to payments;
Filing of payment records for all transactions;
Reconciling payment records for all transactions;
Preforming bank reconciliations;
Processing student/customer payments and issuing receipts as appropriate;
Preparing reports on cash balances; and
Providing safe custody of finance and accounts records.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance, or any other relevant qualification.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
