Responsibilities

Prepare Financial Statements: Instruct students on the step-by-step preparation of Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.

Apply IFRS Standards: Teach the application of International Financial Reporting Standards to specific transactions like revenue recognition and leases.

Manage Double-Entry Systems: Test students on complex journal entries, adjustments, and the reconciliation of ledgers.

Analyze Accounting Ethics: Facilitate discussions on ethical dilemmas in accounting practices and the importance of objectivity and integrity.

Understand Consolidation: Teach the process of consolidating financial statements for a parent company and its subsidiaries.

Interpret Notes to Accounts: Train students to dissect the footnotes and supplementary schedules in financial reports to uncover potential risks.

Work Hours: 8
