Job Overview

Scofield Associates is assembling a multidisciplinary team of associate consultants for an upcoming regional assignment involving Third-Party Monitoring (TPM), Data Quality Assessment (DQA), and Financial Monitoring (FM) of a multi-year, donor-funded programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk-weighted financial spot-checks of programme expenditure and subgrantee transactions.
  • Review financial compliance against donor requirements and identify financial risks.
  • Contribute financial findings to consolidated TPM/DQA reporting.
  • Support desk reviews, field verification, stakeholder consultations, and performance-monitoring activities.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in financial monitoring, audit, or financial compliance reviews of donor-funded programmes.
  • Experience with EU or other multilateral donor financial compliance frameworks is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial monitoring of civil society or community-based subgrantees.
  • PhD preferred.
