Responsibilities

  • Lead ERP deployment, customization, and system upgrades across the organization.
  • Design automated workflows to streamline financial reporting and data integration.
  • Troubleshoot system errors and resolve discrepancies between sub-ledgers and the general ledger.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Oversee real-time inventory tracking and digital stock control across all warehouses. entory Align Point of Sale (POS) transaction data with backend accounting modules.
  • Conduct regular digital and physical audits of financial data across multi-branch operations.
  • Train branch staff on financial software and data security protocols.
  • Manage electronic tax submissions and compliance via KRA iTax and TIMS/eTIMS. Maintain clear digital logs and documentation to support external audits.
  • Enforce cybersecurity controls and user access policies for all financial software.
  • Ensure strict compliance with KRA regulations, tax laws, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or Business Information Technology (BBIT).
  • Active CPA(K) member in good standing with ICPAK.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a senior finance role with hands-on IT project exposure.
  • Power-user experience in major ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong technical proficiency in SQL, advanced Excel, and data analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Proven background managing stock-heavy systems, retail operations, or supply
