The Financial Controller is responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial records, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and driving compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The role oversees all aspects of accounting, treasury, tax, and financial analysis, providing insights that support sound decision-making and operational efficiency. The Financial Controller will work closely with the Finance and Procurement teams at Bio Foods to ensure full alignment and transparency in financial management.

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗻:

  • Maintain accurate, timely books of account in SAP, ensuring all transactions are properly classified and supported.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements aligned with IFRS and group accounting policies.
  • Perform daily and weekly bank and petty cash reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Conduct supplier account reconciliations and resolve open items in collaboration with Procurement and Bio Foods Finance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all statutory returns, including VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other taxes.

𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • CPA (K) or ACCA qualification required.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP and Excel (pivot tables, advanced analysis).
