To provide critical leadership in safeguarding the financial integrity of the bank, ensuring robust financial governance, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial stewardship. The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial control frameworks, delivering accurate and timely financial reports, driving budgeting and forecasting processes, and supporting long-term strategic planning to ensure sustainable growth and financial resilience. The ideal candidate should bring a strategic mindset, strong technical expertise, and a proven ability to influence executive decision-making.
Qualifications
Type of Qualification: First Degree
Professional Certification: CPA-K (Certified Public Accountant – Kenya)Experience Required5-7 years
- Experience working in financial services environment with an understanding of Commercial Banking products, budgeting, cost and revenue monitoring and forecasting.
- Extensive knowledge and application of accounting standards, including latest IFRS standards, and reporting as it relates to business performance, trends and managing risk.
- Demonstrated leadership in Finance, Risk Management, Planning, and Reporting functions.
