Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Financial Institutions Relationship Manager to develop and manage our portfolio of relationships with key financial institutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, fostering strategic partnerships, and ensuring the highest level of service to our institutional clients. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence and achieving our strategic financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential financial institution partners (e.g., banks, insurance companies, asset managers).
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the portfolio, including cross-selling the bank's products and services.
- Strategic Partnership: Develop and implement strategies to deepen existing relationships and enhance client loyalty and satisfaction.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze client financials and market trends to provide tailored financial solutions and advice.
- Risk Management: Monitor the portfolio's performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and the bank's credit risk policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Credit, Trade Finance, Treasury) to deliver seamless service and execute client transactions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., AKIB, ACCA, CFA) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in relationship management within a banking or financial services environment, specifically dealing with financial institutions.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, banking products, and credit analysis.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and business goals.
