Financial Reporting Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare group monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts and audited financial statements in line with IFRS standards, with a focus on hospitality-specific USALI reporting (e.g., RevPAR, ADR, GOP).
- Consolidate financial results across multiple properties, restaurants, and service outlets within the portfolio, including conducting variance analysis on the profit and loss statement and capital expenditure costs.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes tailored to hospitality cycles (peak seasons, off-peak adjustments) and lead consolidation of budgets into group hospitality models.
- Report on and ensure compliance with various reporting requirements across the hospitality group (both banks and NFIs), including but not limited to financial and insurance covenants, sustainability metrics, and capital purchase requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and hospitality industry reporting requirements through review of adherence to SOPs and the general ledgers across the group.
- Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders during audits and reviews.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support on other tasks as requested by the finance leadership team (e.g., SOP enhancements and system requirements reviews).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA. ACA, or equivalent) preferred.
- At least 4-6 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, ideally within hospitality, tourism, or service industries.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS with preference for knowledge on hospitality KPIs (RevPAR, ADR, GOP) and USALI.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) with preference for proficiency in hospitality management systems (Opera, Micros, Fidelio).
- Advanced MS Excel skills for modelling and analysis.
