Your Purpose

As a Floor Runner, your primary mission is to ensure the smooth operation of housekeeping services by assisting Cabin Stewards in their daily tasks. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, offering support with all housekeeping duties, and ensuring that every cabin is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. Your efforts will contribute directly to the overall guest satisfaction, ensuring a relaxing and memorable cruise experience.

By supporting the Cabin Stewards, you’ll make a tangible difference in the guest experience. Your contributions will directly affect the smooth running of the ship’s housekeeping services, helping to maintain high cleanliness standards in all cabins. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure that cabins are prepared quickly and efficiently, offering guests a pristine environment to relax in. You also could interact with guests, helping to foster a friendly and welcoming atmosphere aboard the ship.

Your Journey So Far

• Proven experience as a Floor Runner or in a similar position, preferably on board a cruise ship or in a hospitality environment
• A strong understanding of housekeeping procedures and customer service standards
• Prior experience in maintaining high cleanliness standards and attention to detail
• Exposure to working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task efficiently
• Experience in interacting with guests and ensuring that their needs are met with professionalism and care

Your Essentials

• Fluent in English (oral and written)
• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping or support role, ideally in the hospitality or cruise industry
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping tools, materials, and cleaning methods
• Ability to work well in a team and under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently with a focus on quality
• Positive attitude with a proactive and flexible approach to work
• Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
