DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cost Control & Financial Management
- Monitor daily food and beverage costs against budgets and forecasts
- Analyze variances between actual and standard costs
- Prepare regular cost control and performance reports
- Recommend strategies to reduce wastage and improve profitability
Inventory Management
- Oversee stock levels for all food, beverage, and consumable items
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliation with system records
- Monitor stock movement, usage trends, and expiry risks
- Ensure proper storage practices to minimize losses
Purchasing & Verification
- Verify purchase orders, supplier invoices, and delivery notes
- Ensure correct pricing, quantities, and quality standards are met
- Liaise with suppliers and procurement teams to resolve discrepancies
- Support approval processes for F&B purchases
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of all F&B transactions
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc financial reports
- Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies and procedures
- Support internal and external audits
Systems & Process Management
- Utilize POS/ERP systems to track sales, inventory, and cost data
- Ensure proper system entries for all F&B transactions
- Support system improvements and data accuracy checks
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CPA certification is an added advantage
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in F&B cost control or hospitality finance
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and F&B systems
- Experience with ERP and/or POS systems (advantageous)
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control principles
