Key Responsibilities
- Always maintain a prominent level of visibility and supervisory involvement in the food and beverage outlets
- Ensure that all team members are trained to carry out effective, professional service and to deliver a warm welcome.
- Ensuring high standards are set and continue to be observed
- Responsible for inquiries, complaints and any problems that may arise whilst on duty and to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner and communicated to senior management.
- Assist the Food and Beverage Manager, overseeing rosters and ensuring cost effective measures are always adhered to
- Managing the Restaurant Reservation Book and attending weekly function meetings.
- Ensure that a sales culture is created by actively encouraging up selling
- To ensure cleanliness levels are maintained to a high standard in all F&B areas
- To keep up to date with competitors and local businesses.
- Liaise and maintain a relationship with other departments to ensure the effective, efficient and smooth running of events.
- Assist in promotional and marketing activities as required.
- Adhere to Health & Safety Procedures and other Company Policies and Procedures.
- Any other duties relevant to your skills that may be assigned to you by the Company.
Requirements
- Excellent leadership and delegation skills required.
- Must be a self-starter, with good communication skills.
- Available to work early and late shifts both midweek and weekend
- Must have a minimum of 2 years hotel food & beverage at supervisory level
