Position Overview
Medprime College is seeking dynamic, customer-focused Front Office Executives to join our campuses in Mombasa and Nakuru. The ideal candidates will serve as the first point of contact for students, clients, and visitors, ensuring smooth and professional front office operations. They will play a key role in supporting student services, managing communications, and maintaining the college’s positive image.
Note: For the Mombasa campus position, candidates must be of Swahili origin to ensure cultural alignment and effective community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Reception and Front Desk Management
- Warmly greet and assist students, clients, and visitors.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries promptly and professionally.
Student Support Services
- Provide timely and accurate information to students regarding courses, schedules, and college policies.
- Offer guidance and support to enhance the student experience.
Admissions and Record-Keeping
- Assist with student enrollment and admission processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date academic and administrative records.
Appointment and Schedule Coordination
- Organize and schedule meetings, interviews, and appointments for staff and stakeholders.
- Ensure efficient coordination between departments and external parties.
Office Housekeeping and Inventory
- Ensure the front office area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies and materials.
Communication and Social Media Support
- Assist in managing the college’s social media platforms to engage with students and the public.
- Support internal and external communication efforts as needed.
Client and Student Relations
- Build and maintain positive relationships through exceptional customer service.
- Address and resolve inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
Key Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic social media platforms.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or a related field.
- Sales background is mandatory.
- Prior experience in front office, customer service, or a similar role is a strong advantage.
- For the Mombasa campus position, applicants must be of Swahili origin.
