In this role, you ensure a warm welcome, smooth operations, accurate administration, and a consistently high-touch guest experience.

Tasks

  • Oversee daily front office operations, including fast and accurate check-in/check-out.
  • Maintain excellent lobby and shop standards at all times.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints quickly and professionally.
  • Plan staff shifts and coordinate team coverage.
  • Ensure timely communication across departments.
  • Keep all systems and records up to date
  • Support occupancy optimization and strict adherence to approved rate/pricing structures.
  • Supervise billing, reservations, and OTA updates to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–5 years in Front Office, ideally in a 4–5 star safari camp or luxury lodge.
  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management (or equivalent).
  • Systems & Admin: Strong PMS knowledge, reporting discipline, and inventory control experience.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead a small team and make sound decisions independently.
  • Guest Service: Confident with VIP/high-touch service and complaint resolution.
  • Communication: Excellent spoken and written English
  • Personality: Warm, authoritative, hands-on, and highly detail-oriented.
