Platinum Outsourcing & Logistics (EA) Limited is seeking a Fuel Clerk to work at Nzoia Sugar Company Ltd.

Responsibilities or duties

Receive, verify, and issue fuel and lubricants to company vehicles, agricultural machinery, and generators

Record all fuel issues accurately in daily fuel registers and computerized systems

Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of fuel pumps and storage tanks

Monitor fuel consumption patterns to detect anomalies or wastage

Maintain up-to-date records of fuel receipts, issues, and balances

Reconcile fuel stock balances with supplier delivery notes and internal usage records

Support internal and external audits on fuel management

Ensure compliance with company fuel handling procedures and safety regulations

Report any discrepancies, fuel losses, or mechanical issues immediately

Maintain a clean and safe fuel storage and dispensing environment

Liaise with procurement and stores departments to ensure timely replenishment of fuel stocks

Assist in the verification of supplier deliveries and quality of fuel received

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

KCSE Certificate or equivalent

Diploma in Storekeeping, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related field is an added advantage

Experience needed

At least 2 years of experience in fuel management or storekeeping within an industrial or transport setting
