Responsibilities
Fundraising & Donor Engagement
- Support the identification, cultivation, and stewardship of donors (foundations, individuals, corporates, faith-based partners)
- Manage assigned donor portfolios and communication schedules
- Support donor visits, briefings, and engagement activities
Proposal Development & Grants Management
- Coordinate proposal development, including drafting narrative sections, budgets (with finance), and supporting documentation
- Track submission deadlines and funding cycles
- Support grant management, reporting schedules, and compliance requirements
Medical & Programmatic Liaison
- Work closely with clinical departments to translate medical programs into compelling donor-ready narratives
- Gather program data, patient stories, and outcomes in collaboration with medical teams
Reporting & Stewardship
- Prepare donor reports, impact updates, and presentations
- Maintain accurate grant and donor records
- Support audits and compliance reviews related to donor funding
Systems & Data
- Maintain fundraising trackers, pipelines, and dashboards
- Support CRM/database upkeep and reporting
- Contribute to institutional learning and documentation
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in: Development Studies, Public Health, Health Sciences, Communications, Business or a related field. A postgraduate qualification in public health, development, or nonprofit management is an added advantage.
3 years of experience in:
- Fundraising, development, grants management, or partnerships OR
- Health program coordination with strong donor or reporting exposure
Experience supporting proposal development and donor reporting
Familiarity with donor compliance and restricted funding preferred
