Fundraising Executives

We are looking for high-energy, target-driven individuals who thrive in face-to-face environments and are confident approaching strangers daily. As a Face-to-face fundraiser, you will engage members of the public in high-traffic locations and inspire them to commit to long-term monthly donations. This role is best suited for individuals with experience in field sales, activations, or customer acquisition, especially those used to working under daily targets and high rejection environments

Job Purpose:

We are looking for high-energy, target-driven individuals who thrive in face-to-face environments and are confident approaching strangers daily. As a Face-to-face fundraiser, you will engage members of the public in high-traffic locations and inspire them to commit to long-term monthly donations. This role is best suited for individuals with experience in field sales, activations, or customer acquisition, especially those used to working under daily targets and high rejection environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Public Engagement: Confidently approach and initiate conversations with members of the public in high-traffic areas, including streets, malls, and events, creating positive first impressions and meaningful interactions.
  • Campaign Communication: Clearly and passionately communicate the organization’s mission, campaigns, and impact, tailoring your message to different audiences to create understanding and emotional connection.
  • Donor Acquisition & Conversion: Drive donor sign-ups by effectively guiding conversations from introduction to commitment, using persuasive techniques to convert interest into long-term support.
  • Target Ownership & Performance: Take full ownership of individual performance by consistently working towards and achieving set fundraising targets, maintaining focus, discipline, and accountability throughout each day.
  • Relationship Building: Build instant rapport with a diverse range of individuals by actively listening, responding to concerns, and creating authentic connections that encourage trust and commitment.
  • Objection Handling & Resilience: Confidently handle questions, concerns, and objections from the public, maintaining a positive attitude and persistence even in high-rejection environments
  • Brand Representation: Represent the organization professionally at all times, demonstrating integrity, enthusiasm, and credibility in every interaction with the public.
  • Accurate Data Capture & Reporting: Accurately record donor information and daily activity, ensuring all interactions and sign-ups are properly documented and reported in line with organizational standards.
  • Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work closely with team members and supervisors, actively participating in feedback sessions, training, and coaching to continuously improve performance and results.

Requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • A Diploma is required; a Degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in field sales, direct sales, activations, fundraising, or customer acquisition roles, preferably within fast-paced, target-driven environments.
  • Demonstrated experience working towards and achieving daily, weekly, or monthly performance targets, with a clear understanding of results-based roles.
  • Proven ability to confidently engage and communicate with diverse audiences in face-to-face settings, particularly in outdoor or high-traffic environments
  • Ability to remain motivated and consistent in roles that involve high levels of rejection and continuous interaction with the public..
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, build rapport quickly, and adapt messaging to different individuals.
