Job Context

This role is for a Gardener position at a Ultra Luxury Beachfront Hotel in Mombasa. The gardener will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's outdoor spaces, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing and well-kept for guests.

Responsibilities

• Planting, watering, and fertilizing flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns.
• Mowing, edging, and trimming lawns.
• Weeding and mulching garden beds.
• Pruning trees and shrubs.
• Operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment.
• Pest and disease control.
• Ensuring the overall tidiness and presentation of the hotel grounds.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a gardener or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of plants, soil types, and gardening techniques.
• Ability to operate gardening equipment safely.
• Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
